Eligibility Criteria

1. He / She shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year of Examination.



2. He or she has passed the qualifying examination as under:



The Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2. with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects







Other Eligibility requirement:



1. The candidate has studied for the last three years of qualifying examination continuously as a regular candidate in a recognized institution in Rajasthan.



2. All those students who are bona fide residents of Rajasthan but are studying in other states will also be eligible for appearing at Pre-Medical Test.

The competitive entrance Examination will be of 3 1/2 hours duration and will have one paper consisting of 200 objective type (multiple choice and reason-assertion type) questions, from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General and General Knowledge.   The details of distribution of marks are as follows:

The general standard of the Competitive Entrance Examination will be that of 12th class under the 10+2 Scheme/Pre-Medical/Intermediate science or an equi No syllabus for the examination has been prescribed by the Institute. Valiant examination of an Indian University.

 

             

Language of Question Paper

     

Question Paper will be provided either in English or Hindi to the candidate according to their choice.  A candidate must write in the space provided in the application form whether he/she prefers who have the question paper in english or Hindi.  This choice cannot be changed later at any stage

AIIMS 2010 MBBS ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility Criteria: (i) Candidates who have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe

candidates) aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or whose results of Class-XII are likely to be declared by 7th July, 2010 are eligible to apply. (ii) The candidate should have attained the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on 31st December, 2010.

The Prospectus-cum-Application Form costing Rs. 1000/- (Rs.800/- in case of SC/ST candidates) inclusive of examination fee can be obtained in the following manner:



Application Procedure :- A candidate can submit application either On-Line through Internet OR Off-Line through prescribed Application form :



A) On-line : For on-line submission of application visit www.aiimsexams.org and carefully follow the instructions given therein. The candidate can pay the application fee through a credit card/debit card or through challan of State Bank of India. Transaction Processing Fee at the following rates will be payable to the Bank (Only for On-line Applications)



Amex Credit Card, Diners Credit Card 4% of the Transaction amount



Visa & MasterCard Credit/Debit Cards and Net Banking 2.5% of the Transaction amount



On Cash through Challan at any Branch of State Bank of India - Rs. 25/- (or as applicable)



B) Off-line : The Prospectus-cum-Application Form can also be obtained by Speed Post/Registered Post by sending a written request with an account payee Bank Demand Draft of Rs.1050/- (Rs.850/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of ACCOUNTS OFFICER (EXAMS), AIIMS payable at New Delhi. The Bank Draft should be valid up to July/August 2010. The name of the course applied for must be written on reverse of the Demand Draft alongwith candidate’s name. The request must reach the Assistant Controller of Examinations, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi – 110 608 on or before 15.03.2010.

Money Order/Cheque/Postal Order/Cash or any other form of payment will NOT be accepted for postal sale. The words “REQUEST FOR APPLICATION FORM FOR MBBS ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2010” should be written on the envelope containing request for application form, and also on top of the request letter. The address at which Application Form is required should be written clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS with PIN code. AIIMS will not be responsible for delay in/non-receipt of Application Form caused by illegible or incomplete address.

ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATIONS TO APPEAR IN THE ENTRANCE EXAMINATION AFMC

Educational qualification: Applicants must have passed the XII standard/pre-professional/ premedical examination or equivalent examination of statutory Indian University/Board or any other recognized Board/University as a regular student in all the subjects opted for in first attempt with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing not less than 60% of aggregate marks in the three science subjects taken together, not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects and not less than 50% marks in English. They must have also passed an examination in Mathematics at least of the matriculation standard. A graduate of B.Sc. examination with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany or Zoology) and also must have passed the earlier qualifying examination i.e. XII standard/Pre professional (Med) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and obtained marks as stated above.

Note - (a) Candidates who are to appear in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) upto 01 May 2010 may also appear for the test provisionally. (b) The following categories of students are not eligible to apply - (i) Candidates who have passed in Domestic Science, Domestic Arithmetic, Lower Maths separately or in combination with other subjects like General Science, Social studies in High School/Higher Secondary (Multi Purpose) or equivalent examination (ii) Candidates who have passed only Pre-University/Pre-Degree (one year course) or Pre-Professional in Agriculture/Veterinary/Dental Examination (iii) Candidates who have passed the Pre-Professional or equivalent qualifying examination as private candidates

It will be held at the following cAge limit: Must have attained the age of 17 years on 31 December 2010 but must not have attained the age of 22 years on the date i.e. not born earlier than 01 January 1989 and not later than 31 December 1993, if the academic qualification of the candidate is 10+2 or equivalent. A candidate who has passed B.Sc. examination or will be appearing in final B.Sc. examination and seeks admission, he/she must not have attained the age of 24 years on 31 December 2010 i.e. must have been born not earlier than 01 January 1987

Candidates selected in the written test, will be called for interview at Pune in the month of June 2010. No TA/DA would be admissible to the candidates either for written test, interview or at the time of reporting for admission

A total of 130 students (105 boys & 25 girls) will be admitted.

Syllabus For the AFMC 2010 Written Examination:

The general standard of the entrance examination will be that of 11th and 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/pre-medical/intermediate science or an equivalent examination of the State Education Board/Indian University

Method of Selection:

Candidates who are found provisionally eligible as per the criteria of eligibility, will be called at one of the examination centres to appear in the competitive examination on 1st Sunday of May. Issue of admit cards. however does not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which will be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of selection.

The written examination centre will be allotted to candidates depending upon the administrative arrangements for the examination and availability of adequate seating capacity.

The Roll Number of the candidates who qualify for interview based on the above written examination will be published in the leading newspapers. The college/DGAFMS take no responsibility for any error or omission in the roll numbers published in the newspapers.

Results of candidates who have qualified for interview will be published in

Employment News and Rozgar Samachar in the third week of May. This result will also be

posted on the Website www. indarmy. nic. in / dgafms and www. afmc. nic. in No inquiries

on telephone / fax regarding results will be entertained by office of DGAFMS New Delhi or

AFMC Pune.
